Future Engineers Gained Field Experience at Sekizli Crane and Machinery

A technical field trip to the Sekizli Crane and Machinery Factory was organized by the teachers of our school's Machinery and Design Technology Department.

As a result of this trip, our students gained valuable insights into workplace workflows, employer-employee relations, and the step-by-step processes of transforming raw materials into finished machinery.

During the visit, students observed programming and manufacturing processes on CNC machine tools. They acquired knowledge about plasma and laser cutting technologies as well as production workflows. Additionally, they examined firsthand how maintenance and repair operations and procedures are organized on-site.

Following the factory tour, the students visited the Machinery Fair, where they had the opportunity to observe all the necessary machine tools for machining, newly released machine tools, CNC production machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems in action.
